Children at
Blackheath Quaker Meeting

Children are an integral part of our Meeting in Blackheath, and each Sunday we offer a range of age-appropriate activities in the children’s room downstairs run by two Friends on a rotational basis. Our aim is to pass on Quaker values and engender a feeling of belonging. The children join the meeting for worship upstairs for the last ten minutes or so. Older children are encouraged to join us in meeting for worship and they may also take part in regional activities organised nationally by the Society of Friends.

There are approximately six to eight children on our register with an adult rota of around fourteen.
